Did he weasel off back to the Balkans? Or is he still drawing a wage from us? I'm on the west coast of the US and haven't read any news of his saga lately.

I would think the answer to both your questions is - yes! He is supposed to be trying to arrange a transfer elsewhere - unfortunately, given that he's earning #25k a week for sitting on his @rse for another two years, he's probably just lying on a beach somewhere drinking pina coladas. B@st@rd!

PS: they were showing the new Rock 'n Roll Museum in Seattle this morning on the BBC News programme - it looked ugly. Been to see it yet?

Thanks for the news Clarky. As I suspected - this show will run and run. The "Experience Music Project" was built by Paul Allen for $25m. The architect was interviewed on local TV and said that the point of the building was to reflect the dynamic virility of rock and roll music and more or less implied that, yes, it is ugly (or at least not meant to be pretty). I've not been inside but some friends who have were impressed by the scope and particularly the interactive exhibits. I think Paul Allen has more surprises in store for us. Actually, he bought the local baseball team, they sold the 'star', Ken Griffey, and used the salary to hire some better all round team players and the team is doing well. I'm not sure if this exactly follows Softies advice on another thread about how Toon should proceed, but it sort of emphasizes the team versus individual aspect of sport.
