I have such severe pain now in my hands and wrists that I am unable to write with a pen anymore or paint. I spend hours each day sitting or in bed and my hobby is writing short stories and articles, some being published. I recently had a week as a disabled writers course in purpose built accomodation where we were all lent laptops to use. There is no way I can afford a laptop and I am wondering if anybody knows of any organisations who I could approach for one? A long shot I know but you never know.

I don't know if this will be of any help or interest to you but I have an Apple Mac which I don't need any more. It is not the latest model, in other words it doesn't have a modem to access the Internet, but just for typing it would be fine. If you are interested in discussing further, let me know
