Why don't you just buy a punching bag and spare all of us from a lot of grief?

-- cyber freud (you.are@sick.com), June 24, 2000.

cyber freud,

Who are you talking to? "all of us"? How long have you herded? like a sheep?

Again, where are you Steve Heller???? Why won't you respond? too tuff for ya?

I think what Mystery Guest is trying to say is that Heller is a jive walkin' trash talkin' doom gawkin' sad sulkin' McCaulay Caulkin, butt rockin' Ceep mockin' tick tockin' boat dockin' pillow sockin' rip roarin' quite borin' loud snorin' sugar smorin' pain in the royal pantooty.

As I've already said on numerous occasions, the reason that I haven't updated my site is that Y2K is over. Of course, if I did update it, CPR would accuse me of trying to "rewrite history". And now that I am not updating it, he accuses me of posting only negative information. Here's a clue: Y2K is over. Get over it. Get a life.

I hope that answers your question.

Steve Steve Steve, OVER? Here these folks need your help...click Me!!!

What is over is the Meme. Course if you truely understood the technical issues you would never claim It Is Over. Big newsflash::::IT never was this big old mess you claimed, and the hucksters reported.

Why didn't you share with others how dam simple the solutions to Y2k issues were? Why didn't you explain to others how computing is buggy by default? Why didn't you explain even something as simple as integrating a new application among others on a computer can be much more disruptive than having a bad date show up among existing apps? Why weren't you part of the solution? Why did you choose to contribute and add to what you must have known(did know) was many things which were simply untrue? overblown? or pure fiction?

If Y2k was this big old mess, why were you writing C++ books for folks to use in some future you yourself claimed would require Joe the Handyman to kick start? How were your books going to get published if we spent years fixing the water faucets?

Did it seem odd to you that Gary North would offer a 2 year subscription to his newsletter and be claiming "it is all going away real soon"? Why no comment on that?

You want respect? start earning it by acting like the Professional you think you are. Never too late to start.

Charlie,

Why dont you just quit and get a life?... ok, I have to admit I've been out of town most of last week on biz, and volunteer work all of this weekend at a Boy Scouts camp, helping to setup a kitchen to feed 350, 3 times a day, 300 miles away from here... so I don't know what set you off on Steve, THIS TIME !!!!!... But Gezzzz... try giveing it a rest... you and all of your other 20 names will feel better...

Knock Knock.... Steve Heller are you ever going to respond to the Polly one post above?
