Where's The Knife??

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ER Discussions : One Thread

I was re-watching "BSMH" and did anyone else notice when someone said "You know, we do have a bigger knife to cut the cake" and Amira says "I know, but I couldn't find it" Pretty morbid huh? I didn't notice that the first time because I didn't know they were going to get stabbed!

Ok - I'm sorry, but this has really irritated me and i just wanted to point it out! In BSMH, Abby treated that old woman and she died. In between showing scenes of her treating Mrs. Connelly, they showed scenes of Mark and Elizabeth at that restaurant with there parents. Abby called the time of death as something past 7 o'clock at night and Carol later says Mark left at 8 o'clock which means the continuity people really screwed up! I don't know why I noticed it but it really irritates me everytime I see it now! Sorry - I ain't really obsessive ya know!

I know Torrie, I mentioned the first time "BSMH" showed. I think this is when we were trying to figure out how long Lucy & Carter had been lying there.

I was under the impression that Carol may have said that so Mark wouldn't get in trouble for leaving too early.

In response to the time frame.. after the old lady died Abby was on the roof and Carter showed up. They talked for a few minutes, then headed to the party. I'm assuming then Lucy was already attacked and laying there. then Carter went looking for her because she was supposed to see a patient hours ago.. I figure then maybe Abby would know how long Carter was laying there assuming they knew he went looking for her.

Regarding "where's the knife" - didn't it look like Paul was holding his left arm at an awkward angle when Lucy found him in the lounge? He obviously had it in his sleeve and did not want to drop it. I imagine he attacked her as soon as she got him back to curtain area 3. Maybe this will help you guys figure out the Lucy-bleeding-to-death- time-line thing.

I thought the exact same thing about the knife. I was like you and did not notice it at all the first time I saw it, but when I was watching it this time and I knew what it meant it was much worse!
