I have a Sony DSC 505 camera. I have successfully transferred images to my pc with the USB cable many times, but recently, have not been able to get the PC to see the camera.

I bought this camera in Japan last year, and have no english language manual to refer to. I reinstalled the software, to no avail. I don't know how to proceed. Suggestions solicited, and if someone has an english manual they would be willing to scan and send to me, I would be grateful. Thanks, Mike Hodish

Are you going to "my computer" and looking for the "removable" drive F or whatever the next drive is for you. I found this at first unnatural. I first opened the editing software and tried to go to the "camera", but always got a no camera found error message. But it has always been there thru the my computer drive. Just in case you forgot that method.
