NEW YORK, June 23 (Reuters) - Sunoco Inc.'s
40,000 barrels per day (bpd) catalytic cracker
at its Philadelphia complex refinery was still
shut down on Friday but was expected to restart
later in the day, a company spokesman said.

The independent refiner had shut the gasoline
unit earlier this week after a glitch and
originally expected the cracker to return
on Thursday.
