Fish-eye lens for Oly C-2020?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

I just bought a Olympus C-2020 via mail order (B&H Photo, $649) and I would really like to get a fish-eye lens attachment for it. I've found the Olympus Fcon-o2 fisheye lens, f/d340-r/l/400z but have assumed it's incompatible with the C-2020. Am I right?

Does anyone know of or can anyone recommend a fish-eye attachment for this camera?

cheers- Kayt, San Francisco

P.S. Love the camera, BTW. Decided on this one instead of the C-3000.

Find out what the milimeter rating is on the front of your camera. Then find out what it is on the black extention tube & the lens. If they're all the same, you can use the fish eye lens w/o any problems.

Stick a cheap door viewer in front of the lens. After 6 pictures you'll be fed-up with the fisheye effect anyway.
