I listened to an interview with the above mentioned on 5 Live yesterday. He mentioned being at the Newton Heath, Cup Final with his kids. I've been going to St. James's Park since being an infant in the '60s and the only times I've gotten tickets for Wembley were, the poxy Charity Shield and this years semi! Mackem b%$#^*d!!!!!

Oh dear! I didn't mean to suggest that anyone from Washington is a Mackem. My brother used to live there and I've been on the 189 bus when it was bursting with Geordies and I'm sorry and it was in the heat of the moment etc etc etc............

On the subject of Wembley tickets, a friend of mine was turned down and promptly lodged a complaint quoting the far flung European locations he had visited. The club advised they would look at his application again if he gave his details, my pal, with his vivid imagination, feared the worsed and hung up.

Sometimes I think he was put on this earth to entertain us.
