Any experiences with Beach Camera?

I'm thinking of buying a new camera from Beach Camera online. I want to know if anyone has had experience with these people and whether they are reliable? Thanks, John

Beach is apparently part of a chain of dealers that use the same telemarketing sales people. They underprice their cameras, and then make up for it through high shipping charges, and add ons. They simply will not let you off the phone until you have added batteries, extra memory, a case and/or an extended warranty to your order. They will commit to anything over the phone and give you what they have. If you are willing to put up with this nonsense, you will get a camera quickly--if not they will offend you deeply in my experience.

Beach Camera is the absolute worst vendor I have ever dealt with. I waited allmost a month for my camera, after being told to expect it any day every week. And then they ended up sending me a different version of the camera I ordered... no add on charges though, even after shipping it was cheaper than any other vendor...
