People by and large are quite stupid. Thats why advertisers spend millions of dollars for a 30 sec. spot during the Super Bowl. They know people are stupid enough to believe that if a celeb endorses their product, the idiots out there will want to identify with the celeb, and hence go buy the product too! Kind of a Pavlov Reflex thing. Polly's don't live in the real world.
