Print quality - 6x8 to create sales aid

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

I work as a stained Glass artist & currently us 35mm photos "blown up" on a colour photo copier to 6 x 8 on A4 laminated & bound as a sales/design aid for my clients.

The idea of being able to view a photo on the LCD screen after shooting really appeals - shooting stained glass with backlighting problems is not always eazy.

I have read the reviews on the Olympus C2020 & C3030 as well as the Canon C20 & wonder if a 2meg+ camera will give me reasonable prints up to 6 x 8 (I don't need glossy magazine quality).

Any details on print quality would be appreciated Thanks Phill

you should be able to do this with few problems--what image editing software do you plan to use? You must translate these digital images to print somehow.
