STUART - The city of Stuart warned residents along St. Lucie Boulevard to boil their water for at least the next three days, according to a news release.
A two-inch water main broke Wednesday afternoon in the area of St. Lucie Boulevard. Water was turned off for one hour, the Public Works Department reported.
The side streets from East Ocean Boulevard to Indian Street and the Conquistador, Ban- yon House and Kingswood I and III Condominiums are all within the affected area.
Water should be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute before being used for drinking, food preparation or brushing teeth, according to the news release.
