Pamie Dreams

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Squishy : One Thread

So I had a dream about Pamie and Squishy. I was having this dream when the alarm went off so I remember it pretty well. You know that Absolut Pamie splash page from the contest? Well in my dream, they had actually released limited edition Pamie vodka. It had her picture on the front and a Squishy entry on the back. Also on the front were little pictures of things she likes, like Eric and the cats. In some kind of bizarre Xeney crossover, there were also pictures from Buffy.

Anyway, they were giving out the bottles for free in my college's student center. I grabbed one and I was so happy. But then a cop came up and wouldn't let me have it because I'm underage. I was pleading that I'll be 21 in a few months but he refused. Finally he said I could keep it if I washed the contents down the drain, so I took the bottle to the sink and washed it out. But when I rinsed it with water, all the paint came off the outside and it was no longer a Pamie bottle. I was so sad.

The dream ended with me writing to Pamie to ask her to re-release the bottles with juice or something in them for us non-drinking age people. And this I remember very clearly, her email address was pamie@plaintivewail.com.

So that dream encompassed all 3 of the journals I read. Am I a freak or does anyone else dream of online people?

I have yet to dream about journallers yet, but I did have quite the peculiar dream about Kobe Bryant about 3 days ago. He climbed into my tour bus (I have no clue) and I proceeded to stand up and start kissing him profusely.

He was much shorter in my dream than he is in real life, that much I remember. I barely follow the NBA, though. Hmmph.

I have been kicking myself all day because I can't quite remember the dream I had last night -- Stee, Pamie, Beth and Patrick were all in it. It was very long and involved, and funny... and I can't remember it. Damn.

Whoa... this just reminded me of my dream last week. I dreamed that Pamie and I were sisters... and we were hanging out being weird, as sisters do, I suppose (I don't know for a fact, I never had any sisters!)

I have dreamed of other journalists before... Astrophe of Cat/Astrophe and Al of Nova Notes... trippy, man.

I do need to get a life...

Just the idea of dreaming long, involved dreams about people who exist only as names on my computer screen really scares me. But I've never dreamt about celebrities either, and I suppose it's fairly similar.

When I was a teenager I had a dream that Bruce Dickenson, frontman for Iron Maiden, showed up at my house to give my sister horseback riding lessons. He had a little black velvet jockey outfit and was only 4'10".

I think I dreampt about hiding out at Beth's house the other night. I don't remember what I was on the run from in that dream, but that's a very common theme for me. I tend to be on the run from something and hiding out somewhere and wondering if someone is going to turn me in.

I remember worrying about Doc barking too loud.

I should be so lucky as to have a dream about our Pamie (what a cutie). ;) Instead, I have dreams about making sandwiches out of ham and a live hamster, thinking to myself, "Man, I'm tired of eating this."

I dreamed I was dating Scott Baio a couple weeks ago! I haven't even seen "Charles in Charge" for years. Totally random. But man, what a hottie.

I think when I first started reading Pamie I dreamed that I was in her life, like living it or something. Just recently though I dreamed that Adam Sandler made me watch him kill people for fun. I think it is all the mint chip ice cream I eat before bed.

No Pamie dreams for me, although I do have my share of celeb dreams. The Gabriel Bryne dreams are the best, especially the one where I am ballroom dancing with him all over the place. Although I must say that my freakiest ones have involved Michael Flatley (a.k.a. 'Lord of the Dance') and being pregnant with Axl Rose's (?!?!?!?!) baby. still don't understand that one....

I don't think there's any harm in dreaming about celebrities or journallers. Pamie exists as more than a name on my computer, I can tell you that much. Anyway, the journaller/celebrity just represents something else most of the time -- your dreams, your fears, another relationship, etc.

Of course, that was not the case for my friends and I in jr/sr high school. We practically had contests to induce the best dreams about Duran Duran. A friend of mine once dreamed that a band I knew came to her house, harvested her weed (it was a teeny little sprout at the time), dried it on my cookie sheets in her oven and smoked the lot of it. I have no idea what that means.

By the way Susanne, I wouldn't mind having dreams about Gabriel Byrne. He snagged a cab from me a while back, so I can tell you, he's a dream walkin'.

Due to the power of suggestion I had a Pamie dream last night. It was very strange. I went over to Pamie and Eric's apartment (apparently I knew them, or else I was just a stalker) and Pamie kept calling Eric "Hap" as in "Hey Hap where's my fanny pack?" She actually said that once in the dream. Pamie had on a purple nylon sweatsuit and a fanny pack and Hap was so damn funny. I was trying in the dream to be as funny as Eric/Hap but it just wasn't working. There was a big black cat named Cal and I kept looking at it thinking "this just does not look like Cal at all, has she been using fake pictures?". Then when the three of us left the apartment Pamie stuck the cat up on the fridge with some of those magnetic poetry pieces. Weird I know, but what does it all mean?

How awful. Me too.

I was wondering around on the site today, and I saw a reference to Pamie being fat or something (yeah, right) and I thought to myself, "Yeah, I was surprised when I met her by how heavy she was."

Then I did a rewind. I live in South Dakota. I've never been to Austin.

Apparently, I was headed to an Indigo Girls concert, but you were performing at the same time. I opted for the girls (sorry, pamie) and went to see you afterward. You were laying there in a black dress in old movie seduction style. And you were quite annoyed to see me. I left quickly after that. Go figure.

I don't know if I've ever really dreamed about a noncelebrity I've never met. Unless you want to count Wilford Brimley.
