there HAS to be a ball player in the middle of the park, where was ours? On the right wing? It almost seems and embarrassment of riches in some types of midfield player and to have Beckham and scholes is something of a luxury (I know that sounds silly with them being the dangerous players and all but if Scholes goes forward you need three solid players to play behind, and that ain't Beckhams greatest quality, and before you start LR he's not in the team for his tackling ability) and both together unbalance the midfield. player midfield sweeper or player that plays in the hole, not both like we did, and the also try two wide men.

Dougal, me too..completely lost it when they showed Al wiping his face. Couldn't tell if he was actually crying, but he looked close to it. There's a hatchet job on him on the Football Unlimited site. grrr.

He was the worst of a bad bunch, but what really gets up my nose is that he's not even a first choice with your lot, and that being the case, he shouldn't have been in the squad.

If he's among the best we've got, god help us. Maybe you can enlighten me as to even one of his good points as a player - I know him only from tv, and have never rated him, so it's not just from his dismal showing in this latest farce.
