Morning All....

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

Just thought I'd say hi to let you all know that I'm around if you need me but that I probably won't be talking much.....can't be arsed after last night, which I strangely took very badly....

I'm sick of England having "dramatic" exits from every competition....every time there's another new villain...Beckham, Batty, Southgate, Pearce, Waddle....the list goes on and on....

I for one am not going to get stuck into Phil Neville....he tried his best but it was quite obvious to see that he was out of his depth from the start of the game....

Right.....when does the real football start....

Yelli check on your mother and the medicine cabinet as Gallaxy is usually the first Brit to post in the morning and not Gav.

Good morning Gav. I saw yor post mentioning that you won't be visiting rainy Bournemouth any time soon. ;-)

We're in the depths of winter here in QLD, suffering from bright, positively sunny, 26c degree days.

I sorta feel let down with that response Gav. I feel that recent events from last week and last night are ruining the fun of baiting me.

Sorry Tre but a man can only fight a hopeless cause for so long before he has to admit that the girl just isn't interested.....I withdraw from the race to win her....may the best man win....etc etc etc...

Blee, it'll just be fun to travel over there with Sting and Min.....and show america how to have fun....

Sting, How about if I stand in the corner here and dance a little jig? it's gonna be a long, hard and hot day today (it was 26 degrees when I went home this morning!)....

I'm stuggling here.....worried about Galaxy not posting as well...

Gav, read in the local papers today that London's Evening Standard reported Mr Bill Clinton is seeking a home near Oxford university (Headline:"Clinton Moving to Britain?")...the guy sure know how to have fun...by any chance, are you responsible for this?

Blee not my fault....honest!! probably something to do with Oxford having loads of fat lasses and cigar shops ;)

Gav,
Galaxy will still be celebrating all the cash she got from putting her winnings from the last round on AS scoring first against Roumania - if she has any sense.

And we should lay into that useless nevile prick, cos everybody knows he wasn't good enough, so he shouldn't have been there. Useless s***s the pair of them.

Oh, and good morning. -)

Good morning gang.
While I was very disappointed, I wasn't devastated as I was kind of expecting it. In truth we were horrible against Portugal and not that much better against the Gormans.
I can't really explain it at all, but I've been watching England for nigh on 40 years now and this is far and way the worst side yet - we've been embarrassed recently against the following giants of world football - Scotland (at Wembley), Malta, Portugal and Roumania.
Certainly there has been a massive general improvement in the overall standard of international sides, and it seems to me that right now we are not only technically inferior, but not as physically strong and as fit as most foreign sides.
Difficult to know where we go from here, and it's nice to be able to forget it for a while and look forward to the new PL season.

Sting, your a class bloke....that's what I like about you.....you remind me of......me!!

I spent most of the evening fending off text messages from a certain russian girl I recently binned telling me that she was in bed with her mate and asking me for suggestions......strange what a woman will do to try and get you back....

It's funny, but I spent the whole match slagging off Neville and then this evening I defended him to my mother of all peopl' It's not his fault he's crap" I said, just that England don't have any left footed players. Having said that WB wouldn't have given thtat penalty away....

I did Tre and as crap as they are, they aren't that bad! Optimism is easy after thumping a bunch of muppets 17-0 :-) Sorry Kermet, disrespected you there!

Actually De Builder I wasn't even thinking of that result becuase our squad is still missing two thirds of it's top talent while competing in the Oceania cup.
