Well for those travelling to the USA to watch the Toon, you might have to extend your holiday by a week in the USA and return via Feyenoord.

It also appears that united will seperate their reserves from the first teamers this offseason. This will have the following effects; we will know who Bobby rates and doesn't; which youngsters Bobby reckons are ready for the first team; Softie and the R team will have to arrange his pre season schedule as well, and scout out the south americans for us as well.

Feyenoord match change.

Newcastle's glamour pre-season friendly with Feyenoord has apparently been rescheduled, amid fears that the Dutch police want the game cancelled.

Originally due to be played on Sunday, August 6 at the De Kuip Stadium, the match has now been brought forward to an 8pm kick-off the night before.

But the talk in Rotterdam is that the police are putting pressure on Feyenoord to abandon the fixture because they fear crowd trouble. Given that violence is virtually unheard of at United friendlies, such a stance will seem ludicrous to their fans.

But seemingly not to the Dutch and Belgian authorities appalled and frightened by the havoc wreaked by English fans at Euro 2000. Bobby Robson will be praying that the game goes ahead, as Feyenoord represent Newcastle's most testing opponents before the season starts proper.
