#7M VIDUKA SET FOR LEEDS MOVE

Leeds are set to complete the signing of Mark Viduka after having a #7million bid accepted by Celtic.

Despite a summer of denial regarding the deal for the Australian international, chairman Peter Ridsdale confirmed that they had agreed a price with the Glasgow club and are hoping to finalise the deal later this week.

Ridsdale said: "We've had an offer for Mark accepted by Celtic. He is in Japan at the moment, but we hope to speak with him in the next few days."

Viduka is keen to join the Elland Road club, linking up with international team-mate Harry Kewell. He stated: I'm returning to Europe this week with plenty on my mind.I have to see my new boss at Celtic, Martin O'Neill, to thrash out my future.

The thought of playing with a fellow Australian in the Premiership greatly excites me and while I have been here in Oz I have had plenty to discuss with Harry Kewell.

If it turns out that we play together at Leeds then that would be wonderful.

Viduka was voted Players Player of the Year in Scotland, grabbing 27 goals for the Bhoys. If he completes his move, it would increase David OLearys summer spending to #14m, following the signing of Olivier Dacourt.

Goodbye Darren Huckerby you ridiculously overrated one-trick-pony. Anyone still think selling him was such a mistake? His only ability is scoring against Manchester United and that hattrick is the only thing keeping him in the EPL. I bet he ends up at Blackburn.
