Hi!

I am considering buying a 3mpix camera to enhance my photographer equipment. But what I need to know first and I just could not manage to find this info yet:

Can I connect external Flash equipment to one of the 3mpix cams?

Up to know comparing the quality and features I took decision for either the Epson 3000z or the Casio qv3000EX/lr.

Can any body help?

The Epson 3000z supports an external flash. It has a hot shoe as well as full manual modes. I have one and use it with the external flash most of the time. Works well. It also comes with an adapter to use 49mm filters or wide/teleconverters, a set of NiMH batteries and charger and 4 different cables for serial/USB/video.

I have been pleased with the camera. Only negative is that skin tones taken with it are excessively red. This is easy to correct by adjusting the hue towards green/yellow. Otherwise the pictures are excellent.
