Program to burn XVCD with smooth transition between two clips

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

Hi All,

I'm making XVCD but instead of having an 30min long clip, I cut my clip into severals section and using NERO 5.0.0.9 to burn them.

It all work fine except the time between clips, I set to 0 sec between clips, but It still stop at the end of the first clip for a fraction of sec before it plays next clip. ( I mean it's not a smooth flow between the two clip )

Does any body know of a software that would make a smooth transition between the two clip?

Does NTI ??? does it?

note that I make XVCD so I can not use EZCD Creator

Thank

Tuan

i can tell you right now NTI doesnt do it, the i-author program for svcd may have something like that though

If you really want smooth transitions or segeuing between clips you master all that into one long clip and put in index marks. It plays smoothly then as one long track but pressing the next or prev buttons on your remote allows you to jump to the next clip (as if it was another track) or the one before. It's just too bad that the one program I know that can do this is Video Pack and the last I was aware is that it doesn't do XVCD.

Thank you guys for your input.

Doug I tried I-author yesterday and it still freeze a bit before jumping to the next clip.

EMartinez I think the Video Pack 4.0 is part of CeQuadrat 3.7 Pro, which I tried yesterday also and your right it does not do XVCD.

again thanks alot for your input, and any other input is welcome

It's not true that video pak 4 does not do XVCD....I've seen it in action and have made a test XVCD with it. It does it.

...my only problem is where or how to insert the necessary entry points to the clip so that Video Pak 4 can access it.
