Power restored to SF and Fremont residents after morning outage BY STAFF & WIRE REPORTS

A spokesman for Pacific Gas and Electric Co. says as of 10:02 a.m. today power had been restored to all of the more than 1500 customers in Fremont who were affected by a power outage that began at 7:30 a.m. this morning.

The outage was due to a sensitive ground relay recloser which was triggered to open this morning, cutting off power. The recloser has been fixed, the spokesman said.

The outage extended from Gable Road to Brown Road west of Interstate Highway 680.

San Francisco residents in the Mission District were also effected by an outage for 37 minutes this morning, the spokesman said.

More than 2400 customers in an area from Mission Street and 16th Street to Mission Street and 14th Street were without power between 6:58 a.m. and 7:35 a.m
