I've been learning how to use CDMotion Authoring software, and got pretty far. I have managed to make a vcd (playing on Power DVD software player (latest version)), that starts with a menu, and has one 'hotspot' that when clicked, plays the film (510mb dat file). Although there are some problems.....

1...I used a bitmap (24bit) at 800*600 res with some smaller bitmaps on it (352*160)for use as a menu screen, but when the vcd plays back, the smaller pix are very fuzzy, why? what is the correct res for a menu screen picture?

2...The hotspot/navigation point i added, has moved from the bottom rhs of the screen to the middle

3...If and when i can create a vcd with chapters on it, will CDMotion put any gaps in between these chapters or will it allow seamless play?

I burn with the cue and bin files created by CDMotion using CDRWin3.8A Is there an option to remove the gaps between tracks? 4...To split an mpeg up into 5 pieces, what is the best software to use without ruining the vcd compliance of the subsequent pieces?
