Oh dear, help me too!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

I must be a walking heap of horse dung 'cos I've been watching entirely the wrong game last night.

Apparently, Alan Shearer did nothing yesterday except fall over, whinge, get a few corners and throw-ins, never drew at least one and two defenders around the shop, did not turn into a crosser of the ball, defend when required...oh, and he's to blame for a deflated and unmotivated team performance when England went 3-2 down.

On the other hand, several players (who I understand wear a red kit for their domestic side) were certainly better than Shearer, in fact one or two were contenders for best performance from an England player. Naturally, I despise and loath each and every one of them for their club team affiliations. Oh, and I'm also somehow jealous / filed with bitterness / resentment / enter random word of choice here especially because of their personal lives.

I make this a free and frank confession, and I'm off to Radio Rentals to get a proper telly 'cos mine is obviously f**ked.

Hey Bobby, it must be something to do with the TV feed to Hillingdon cos I seem to be seeing things the same as you, but completely different to everyone else......well differently to Ltw@tR anyway.

Bottom line......regardless of how he played, regardless of how many crosses he put in before and after those two that were scored from, rtegardless of who he is married to, at the end of the game, he gesticular actions could have caused a riot.

We don't like footballers because they are married to pop stars.....WRONG....I actually quite like Jamie Rednapp but then his missus is only Louise isn't she.....not a Spice Slag

Fkcu me - I saw exactly the same thing. A Hillingdon bug by chance.

Fkcu me - I saw exactly the same thing. A Hillingdon TV bug by some small chance?
I personally blame ITV for all England defeats in my memory. Last night, Argentina, Romania - all ITV "Live" events....
Much prefer the coverage of ITK's paymasters.

Yep - it must have been a Hillingdon thing. Up in Runcorn, Beckham played well, especially in the first half. Second half, nobody covered themselves in glory. To be honest, I didn't see the gesticulation - probably on one of my many bog trips. But at least he didn't kick anybody.

I've criticised Bex B4 on many occasions, but yesterday I thought he was one of the better players on our team. As for who he is married to - I don't give a spicey toss.

Agree with you Screach....one of the better of a bad bunch...

I'll slag him off just as much as anyone when I think he deserves it....yes his tackling back could be better but what about that gimp on the other side of the pitch McManaman? he was infinitely worse than Beckham...

It's all too depressing to go into really....

Get rid of Adams and lets go to a 3-5-2, make the players bit in midfield and make them stop playing for corners and free kicks...make them take a man on occasionally or try and create something....

I can't help but feel that YKD could have made a difference....he might lose out percentage wise but he's unpredictable and has flashes of true genius...

Oh well....Englands loss....
