Oh dear, help please

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

The club has just phoned me offering two seats for me and Ben in the Family Enclosure ..... MacDonalds and Playstations to go with high view of game.

Family enclosure costs 299 fo rme, 125 for him. My existing seat costs 392, and the one I'm buying form the guy next to me is 392. I have promised the guy next to me that I woudl take his seat off him, and he even offered me his other one, i.e 3 in all. I have sat next to this guy for 7 years and get on fine with him.

Two questions .... do I take the Family Enclosure seats ? .... are there any of you out there who would rescue me by being prepared to take the spare seat I have bought in row HH of the Leazes End ? It's a good seat, cross bar height, under cover, nice people around.

Don't know whether I've been clear. The seat I'm trying to off-load may well only be for a year as the guy next to me MAY want it back next year. This is his second year of not wanting to attend and I feel he has lost the will but there may be the chance we win the league and he decides he's interested again.

I don't know whether you're picking this up at home or not. I've spoken to the guy, Alan Riches, and he's fine with it. He likes the idea of it being someones dad !! What we did last year was that he waited till he had the ticket in hand and then I sent him a cheque. He's happy to do the same again. Probably worth giving him a ring he's on 0191 2532587.

My box office fee is negligible on the transaction.
