Theres a company in the UK www.jessops.com that sell the casio QV3000 ac adaptor for #20, for that price I dont think its worth trying anything else on your #600 camera.

Power is power, you just need a adaptor that provides 6V and enough current. The manual says the camera uses apx 6.6 watts, well at six volts that is 1.1 Amps or if you want it in milliamps that is 1100 ma.

However I am using a 6.0v 800ma adaptor that I purchaced from Radio Shack, and thats seems good enough for USB transers.

Generally speaking, Robert is right but some power adapters are made better than the others, for example some are rated for continuous use and some have filtered output for smoother power which is only critical for some equipments only.

I use an adapter from Tempo to run my camera. Its also good for my vibrator which is shaped like a corgie (don't ask cos daddy bought it for me for when he's out in the lorry). Hope the above helps you like it did me!
