Do you have a recipe for Cassava bread ? : LUSENET : FAQ : One Thread

We make cassava flour from dried cassava plup. This is just the dehydrated cassava root(or yuca). We tried with 30% cassava flour, 70% wheat flour and some yeast, and shortening & butter. The result was a nice bread but it lacked the flavor and texture of good tasting bread. What could have gone wrong ?

We believe that cassva as a root behaves diferently than flour to yeast. Do you have an suggestions ?
