Stitches

Did they have to linger on Jaap Stam's treatment for a cut eye? I felt like Patrcik Moore was using my spine for a xylophone. Euuuurgghhh! I spent the Seden match dreading someone showing that Larsson leg-break again - oooowwwufowufeeejoblio! Just call me Mr Squeamish |-O

If I had been Stam, I would have been very worried by the doctor`s shaking hands! I think he must have had stagefright! (:o)

He was already in shock after coming face to face with his doppelganger, only to find that he was even more big and scary!

I never saw it. Did somebody hurt my Main Man?

Eeeuughhh. You had to remind me of that again. I sat here screaming everytime they showed him(more so than usual). Couldn't they have shown the Dutch fans? Far more entertaining!

Lancy, Stam foolishly nutted Koller, the Czech striker, who is the split image of himself only even bigger. Opened a horrible cut above his left eye which the cameras zoomed in on and a sicko director refused to cut away from. Several stitches, and he was all for going back on, but fortunately Rijkaard noticed that his legs were a bit wobbly so Koeman went on instead. Looked nasty. Really deep. The skin just peeled back around this hole. Bleurch! Amazed he stood throughout it with that needle tugging at his eye. Hard man.

THIS is the reason I don't want any of our lads there.

"Yip Yap Stam is a BIG Dutch man..........................."

:-)

LR. Don't worry - my missus assures me that when perspiring, eye shadow (particularly Jap's shade) runs easily these days. Especially when trying to lift a Czech shirt.

Rijkard will tell him to use Clinique for the next game. Don't worry.

BTW - speaking of Jap (Camp) Stam going Dutch; I suppose each team member was given a Dutch cap before the kick-off to prevent any misconceptions .............?

I though it used to be "Jaap Stam, is an ugly man" and now it is "Jaap Stam, is an uglier man"

Stam the man feels no pain- he's got that lunatic look on his face. I feel a Pink Floyd song coming on.

Softie, hope you weren'twatching the halftime blather during the Germany game. Another shot of Jaap's gaping wound(at least they didn't show the stitching!). mmmm...just enough to put me off my lunch. ;-)
