Another great game. Totti magnificent at times, another reason to hate him for the way he chose to dive against us when you see what he's capable of.

Always loathed Pipo Inzaghi, who was born to play at Old Trafford: diving, cheating, arrogant, Olympic whinger. Bleurgh! He should have been too ashamed to accept that penalty of Scottish joke Huge Bollocks. I notice Martin O'Neil has begun his carreer at Celtic with an attack on Mr Dallas....best get used to it.

Turkish fans endeared themselves to nobody hoying bottles onto the pitch, but just goes to show what you get if you stick wire up round your pitches at home: becomes standard behaviour to chuck stuff.

One aspect I've really enjoyed is the lack of ball-boys, it seems to make the players act a bit less like superstars now that they have to retrieve the ball themselves. The pace has been cracking in the first 2 games, but I'm sure France will put paid to that.

We've a new lad at work who supports Juventus (cos his grand dad was Italian) and claims that Del Piero is getting Shearer-like abuse cos he has barely scored from open play all season. I thought he looked brilliant today.

DP hasn't been the same since his injury - no, really. The thing I enjoyed most was that free kick, when you look at that one and Miajhailovic is Yugoslavia get one, we'll hear no more of this Beckham being the free kick king nonsense. He's only ever got one in for England hasn't he? The other 2 do it every 4 games or something. I'm sure Del Piero will be sensational next season; but like Shearer, he needed a slow season to feel his way back. They've both returned from what used to be a no-ifs-or-buts your carreer is over injury. Testament to modern surgical technology.

Both Inzaghis need to be put in a torture chamber and not let out until they stop ruining the game. Any talent they have is completely lost in what their real specialty is- deception.

In the same vein, the bald italian ref made a bad decision. It dosen't mean anything that the Czechs were unlucky not to have scored a goal but they certainly didn't deserve to lose to the home team on a crap penalty. Yes it could have been a foul, a little tug on the shirt. And the sending off of some poor soul fifty yards away was comical. Mr. Collina is losing it but he still has his acting career!
