I have an Epson Perfection 1200U scanner. Do you know of any good software, other than what came with our scanner, that is easy to use for members of our family(who are computer illiterate) to do very simple scanning. Our scanner came with: Epson Twain Driver Adobe Photodeluxe NewSoft Presto Page Manager Boderbund PressWriter ArcSoft Photo Printer Thanks

As far as I know for that particular scanner there is not any other sofware. YOu can install the epson scanner software that comes on the CD. It is fairly easy to use. you can also set the twain interface for easy scanning. Just scan and you are done, the exposure is separate.
