Well I just think it's hilarious personally.

After decades of pushing non cost-effective "non-solutions" for traffic congestion in Seattle for their own political purposes, the Seattle City Council is going to have to either convince the people that a "mass transit" project is too stupid to do, or come up with the money to do one that doesn't serve their political purposes.

Judge Finds City Council Ignoring Monorail Plan June 8, 2000, 06:45 AM, PST

A King County judge told the Seattle City Council Wednesday to either expand the city's monorail or find a way to repeal a voter-approved initiative to make the system bigger.

Superior Court Judge Kathleen Learned says the Elevated Transportation Company, established by voters in 1997, is in danger of going under without the city's support.

Her ruling came in a lawsuit filed by a monorail supporter who maintains the council is ignoring the voters' mandate to expand the elevated monorail.

Learned says that if city officials disagree with the voters, they must repeal the initiative -- but they can't ignore it.

Yea, and the initiative says that their salaries should be held until they fund it.

I Love it!

Yes, and that's just another problem with Initiatives. Any stupid fool with five bucks (like Eyman) can put anything out there. Screw the little people, as long as i have mine....Eymans favorite quote.
