Wanting to make an entry in using a digi-cam I need to choose between a Kodak DC 215 and an Olympus 360L. Either one will offer a good entry experience, but what is your opinion ? Thanx in advance for your help !

I'm strictly an amateur and I have no knowledge of the Kodak DC 215, but I've recently bought an Olympus 360L and I'm very pleased with it. The ease of use, picture quality, etc. is outstanding. Have'nt found anything negative about the camera up to this point.

I had this question before, but now i know that there is no comparasion between Olympus D-360L and Kodak DC-215, Olympus simply kicks kodak's ass in consumer and semi-pro level. I own an Olympus D- 360L and i'm very pleased with it, the shots are very impressive in this price range. A friend of I has a Kodak DC215 and i think it sucks! the DC215's best image setting couldn't even match the Olympus D-360L's lowest quality setting.
