Well every time it gets quiet in this group, I figure it's time to post a photo. Where is everybody? What happened to Shawn?

The photo is at a farmers' market. This woman and her dad make bean pies. When she's not making pies, she's a hair stylist.

i like your photo, Jeff. she's gorgeous for one, and i love the expression you captured. she seems sort of shy. where was it taken? It has a sort of southern look to it in the background...

I like the picture -- lovely pose, slightly shy as Shawn mentions is cute -- but what is she holding in her hand? I really want to see the rest of her: what was in front of her?

But it is a lovely little shot. I would have been happy if I had taken it.

Shyness is definitely the subject of this photograph. Good job of portraying it. I perfer not to actually see what's in her hands, because for me that's part of what makes the photograph work. Check out that smile, will ya?

Yep, I don't want the hands changed either. It add to the shy 'tension' and leaves me guessing what she's doing, keeping the dynamic open to further investigation...forever.
