Hi, i'm a highschool/college music teach and I have heard that there are (?) scanners wich can recognice (?)music scores, does anyone have (practical) information about this? Thanks, Gerard

It's not the scanner that does the recognition, it's some clever software similar to OCR (Optical Character Recognition)called OMR (Optical Manuscript Recognition). Practically any scanner of reasonable quality could be used to scan manuscripts as source images for the software. There's a bit of information on an OMR project at:
