Why does my bread dough tear when it raises

I make a seed bread and everytime it raises the dough tears. Can you help me with this please?

Dear Karen,

I spoke with Joshua in our Research and Development Lab for an answer to your inquiry. He suggested that you use a flour with higher protein such as bread flour, since seeds can cause dough to tear.
