Would it be worth our while to try to offload the dead wood by offering them at ridiculously low prices and agreeing to pay their wages with a new club for the remainder of the duration of their Newcastle contracts ? At least it gets them off the premises.

There's something to be said for this as, while they were playing for another side, we might find that a club would come in and buy them. They are currently a bit invisible to buy. What amazes me is that Perez is the worst of our awful players but gets loaned out relatively easily whereas nee one wanted Maric...

The question is how to convince others to buy something they don't really want. Not sure that putting all our excess baggage in the "Bargain Bucket" will attract the clubs that will in turn attract the players to move.

Remind me how we got rid of Andersson, L'Apostrophe and JDT??? Similar tactics should do well here.

Either that or it's down to the Blue Peter Bring 'n' Buy sales...

My guess is that Perez was loaned out because we paid his wages whilst he was at Cambridge but they wouldn't do the same for Maric and no-one else would pay his inflated wages.

We could do what Pit Bill suggests and charge them some more money if they play a certain amount of games

How about we flog 'em (then sell 'em :-))) ) but top up their wages to NUFC standards.... so we get rid of Perez to some club who can only afford #3k/week and we pick up the remaining #5k.

We're still saving....
