Fur flying? Keegan/Gullit and YBR doing ITV punditry for Euro2000

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

Obviously Keegan's presence will depend on where England get to but YBR and Gullit are both doing ITV punditry from day one. What would Gullit say if Shearer scored/didn't score? What would YBR say? Could add an interesting frisson to the whole tournament.

This was discussed a while back on here and it could be interesting. I hope for our sakes that ITV chuck them together for an England game.

Have you seen the photos of Ruud Gullit in the press over the weekend. He has shorn his dreads and looks like some Childrens TV monster!

De Builder,
Saw that. At least he's now found his real role in life. He'll end up as the photo that nobody gets in those picture quizzes.

He'll say, "Just shows what he can do if he wants to."

Have you noticed in all the telly ads that everyone is stood on the right except Gullit stood all on his tod on the left - Billy no mates or blue screen?

RG (or TD-lessO!) looked like a passable impersonation of Big Bird out of Sesame Street.

Both have a similar ability to inspire loyalty and commitment from their team, too.

Who would be Oscar the Grouch then?

Oscar the Grouch? Alan Shearer - but only while Big Bird is around!

Yong Elmo Robson has lost none of his enthusiasm, has he?

What about Bert and Ernie? Lee and Speed?

What am I saying? Bert and Ernie show all the intelligence of Douggie and Fred - no contest! The Count (FF) has already left the show.
