I just bought this camera and I noticed that It has a bright pin-hole in the LCD monitor and I call Nikon and they told me to have it exchange later I call my dealer and they told me to come back next week when they get their next lot.Today I was reading the manual and It sed that this it`s normal.Should I excange this camera for the new shipment (Newer Cameras) or keep this one (First Batch).

If it doesn't show up on your pictures its just a dead pixel on the LCD, nothing life threatening of course. Actually normal production tolerances allow for some dead pixels, thats what your manual is telling you essentially. Its your call...

Pedro,

Exchange it. If you don't, you'll never forget it...it will start to drive you nuts and you'll wind up hating the camera. Then you'll hate all the people who told you to forget about it.

Your life will become less interesting, you'll start to slack off on your job, your wife will leave you, the dog will bite you and you'll become homeless. And when you try to sell your camera at a local pawn broker they won't give you anything because of the defective pixel on the screen.

Save yourself...exchange immediately.
