DENVER (AP) -- A United Airlines flight
from Chicago to Las Vegas was diverted
to Denver on Saturday after a group of

dizzy and lightheaded.

. . .

None of the 297 passengers or pilots reported
any symptoms and no problems were found with
the plane, the spokesman said. The cause of
the dizziness was not known.

. . .

Another United plane, Flight 1227, which took off from Dulles International Airport in Washington, landed at Lambert Airport in St. Louis at about 12:30 p.m. CDT after pilots reported an engine problem.

I wonder if the M8 flares yesterday, and the day before could cause this??? Also, have you noticed the earthquake list today???? Seven earthquakes that are 5.3 and higher!!

Hi, Rachel...couldn't get the link to work...when I wrote that this morning, there had only been seven...Now I see that there have been nine over 5.3, and a total of 12 over 5. Do you know about this site: http://www.iris.washington.edu/seismic/60_2040_1_8.html, or http://www.geo.ed.ac.uk/quakexe/quakes. Both are good sites that update regularly.

Sorry about the link, Margo; the wires change their stories even more often than do the dailies. And thanks for the URL's you listed.
