Isn't Molina that bliddy fat actor

That was married to Jill Gasgoine or am I thinking of someone else? This from the Sunday Sun:

==================================================================

NEWCASTLE are back on the trail of Spanish international keeper Jose Francisco Molina.

United boss Bobby Robson first had the Atletico Madrid star watched five months ago . . .

And he was alerted last week when the 29-year-old turned down a move to Primera Liga champions Deportivo.

That move fell through because the player was looking for more lucrative personal terms - and he knows he can get them in the Premiership.

Molina, an imposing six-footer with a formidable reputation for commanding his area, still looks certain to leave the Spanish capital this summer.

And with his current club in financial turmoil, Robson could get his man for the buyout valuation of his contract - a relative bargain at around #3 million.

But Robson will have to act fast if he wants to get his man. He already faces stiff competition from two teams who can offer European football next season - Roma and Monaco, who are looking to replace Manchester United's new #7.8 million keeper Fabien Barthez. And the list of clubs chasing the Atletico star could grow longer after the European Championships.

Molina is threatening Valencia's Jose Canizares for the keeper's jersey when Spain kick-off their Euro 2000 campaign against Norway next Tuesday. ==============================================================================================

at least we will get the chance to see him in the Spanish side next week by the sound of it......what does everyone think, or should we go for Richard Wright?

No doubt about it - go for the Wright man.
He's young, brave and good. He's also a Brit, and I'm afraid I'm weary of johnny's antics.
Unfortunately, I can't see him coming here. My guess is he'll stay with Ipswich for this season at least. If and when he moves on it will be for a very serious wedge, and I can't see BR being able to shell out major lucca for a keeper with other pressing priorities.
