He's travelled with the Irish team to the States, but hasn't trained due to an 'arm injury'. He just seems destined never to make it on International level, poor guy.

And cause I'm too lazy to start another thread...the Ronnie also reports Speed left last night's game in Portugal with a knee injury.

Shay might be having a nice holiday...a week travelling from Chicago - Boston - NYC at this time of year isn't bad. He'll even get to avoid the cold showers at Foxboro on Tuesday if he doesn't suit up. Might just be a method to his madness. ;-)

Speed is supposedly reporting straight in for treatment when they get back to Newcastle on Monday.
