Amy Aquino?

So I was watching the rerun of "Great Expectations" the other night and I noticed a familiar name across the bottom of the screen in the credits: Amy Aquino. I think I've seen that name in the credits of "Felicity" many times this year. After I thought about it, I realized "Dr. Coburn" may in fact be the same person as Felicity's frizzy-haired, cigarette-smoking counselor. I never would have made the connection, but their voices sound awfully similar. . . am I right? Anybody know?

You're right, that's her.

Amy Aquino is a wonderful actress. Besides ER and Felicity (which I didn't realize she was in), she was in Picket Fences and Brooklin Bridge. I loved Brooklin Bridge. Marion Ross played a Jewish mother living in, where else, Brooklin. Amy played her daughter.

Didn't she also play the judge on "Judging Amy" recently who was Amy's good friend and died of a sudden heart attack? I spent the biggest part of that episode trying to figure out where I had seen that lady before, then I finally figured out who she was!

She just doesn't look like an Amy though, does she? (Okay, I don't know what that means either but it was the first thing I thought of when I read the original thread question).

Don't really know...but she doesn't look like one to me! :) Seriously, aren't there people who you look at and they just don't seem to match their names?! That's what struck me here. I'd have never matched her with that name shown at the beginning of the program.

Calista Flockhart comes to mind as "not looking like her name."
