1. Why is it that Tita is able to transmit her feelings through food to every one who eats the food rather than just to the person or persons who have provoked her emotions?2. What is the significance of Rosuria's weight gain and/or loss during different circumstances in her life?

Response to Question #1. Tita spent all her life in the kitchen preparing food, never allowed to share feelings with anyone. Tita's mother never allowed emotions to be expressed openly andTita found a way thru the foods she prepared. Question #2. Rosuria's weight gain seemed to always occur when she was at home living with Tita and Mama Elena. The stress of knowing the feelings between Pedro and Tita probably worked on Rosaria causing her to eat her stress away, also she never did anything, Tita was the worker.
