Great idea Renee!

Bring the city folks to the homestead. And then at the end of the day, the barnyard animals would get together and vote on which humans can stay and which ones get sent back.

On the show they dropped them off on an island---well lets drive the back roads for a few miles & see who even can remember how to get back to town! We have a lot of open range around us with only cattle guards--then it is on your own! We have lost many a city slicker out there! Sonda in Ks.

I don't think were city slickers but...

My husbands friend was saying that one of the morning shows was putting a couple/family? up in a place in Alaska. I guess pretty primitive, no phone,t.v. etc. No power? You had to be there a year but they were paying muggoo(lots) bucks to do it and then they check in on you periodically so the world can see how you "survive" way out there.

I told him he shouldn't have told me! Get paid big bucks to be sent on my dream vacation! I don't watch much t.v. and couldn't find out any more on it. I'm sure they've chosen already. DARN!

I loved that girl on the show survivor that said "look buddy, I'm a redneck and that corporate bs don't fly out here in the bush" followed by "sometimes you have to talk while your working and it is time to work" and "I can't wait to eat some rat stew--afterall a rat is just a squirril without a bushy tail". She won my heart. I think I could survive the bush but Iwould have problems with the social skills required to not get voted out. I would have kept the water map myself. No person would consider voting out the water bearer. That method is ruthless but effective.

I don't want to get stranded with Joel!
