Proof that Stig was truly guilty of the MAME T3 scandal

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MARP Editors : One Thread

Remember that message that tried to get rid of the tournament and MAME TG and all of that? The one where people found some english problems - and had that directly related to Stig?

Well here's the story: As you probably know I'm the "administrator" (not really - I just made the board :) ) of this board. What I found was by looking at the messages in admin mode - I noticed that there were IP addresses where the messages came from.

This is why, Zwaxy, I asked for the password to the main MARP board - so I could check the IPs of the message the MAME TG came from, and of Stig himself. And that's what I did.

The IP of "Nicola's message" - 212.4.37.136

A message written by stig at a later point - 212.4.37.134

Stig's has a dynamic IP address - and nobody else really uses that address - so as far as I'm concerned - he's now finally, without a doubt, guilty.

In addition, the extra votes from the t2 that we thought stig really initiated...

Stig Remnes - 212.4.37.17

Freddy Olav Tveit - 212.4.37.17

Anders Jensen - 212.4.37.2

Terje Ellertsen - 212.4.37.17

Kristian Natvig - 212.4.37.17

Notice a pattern?

I think we can finally lay this issue to rest that stig truly screwed up - if not assisted in screwing up - tourneys 2 & 3. I'd like to thank Zwaxy for his help on the situation.

Oh yeah - shall we consider him removed from the confirmation list? I did it once - then put it back - we should formally remove him from the confirmers...

I vote aye on that.

What amazes me is tht he STILL hangs around on the IRC chatroom, even though nobody wants to talk to him. I think Stig might be getting lonely, or at least regretting his arrogance.
