Gav - Sting - I spent 10 weeks in DC in 98 if you're interested in some, erm (how do you put this) cultural places to visit on the friday night (other than that organised on the shirtguy site). I can offer suggestions from the "oot with wor lass" to the "bucks in g- string" places via a place in the ghetto you don't want to be seen in your DJ. Put it this way it won't be the bar I spent weeks tracking down because it was advertised as a real british bar with broon, sky and darts and only ended up having a dart board (took $200 off a yank in a game of Cricket though...."no I've never heard of that game before"...treble top.)
I should be aboot the morra neet, and I'm hoping to "organise an important trip to DC around the 22nd July (turns out to be the same weekend as my boss has his college reunion :o) ).

So we all gathered in Evergreens the 'London ' pub and were enjoying a few beers .. Susie Brown Ale , Scratchy , Tynedale Man , Lady Tynedale , Min , Dougal and Screacher in attendance , when i discover the past maters was on Sky .. stupid thing was evryone else in the boozer thought we had turned up with the sole intention of watching it , we looked very very sad .. even a lass with an arse like a pair of cherries in red silk trousers failed to distract me . Did anyone see Kevin Carr hehehehehe priceless , and oh Johny Johny Anderson .. but we beat the makkums 3-2 , get innnnnn ! Micky Quinn still had it mind , lovely touch , oh aye and how could i forget his strike partner Tony Cunningham , still as useless as ever . Just a quick word about the captain Mick martin .. class , oozing the stuff . Havent laughed so much in a long time , unadulterated comedy ; - ))

Boo hoo weep wail....sorry guys....I really wanted to be there with you last night, I was even half dress and was getting ready to come down to Everegreens when we had a major problem at home and I just couldn't leave it.

I'm really sorry to have missed you all, but I can promise.....the weekend of the 1st of July (Bobby's 5-a-side weekend) will not be disturbed in anyway whatsoever, I don't care what bliddy happens.
