I'm very surprised by the focus time of this camera... It is very unpleasant. Did some of you have the same result??? Thanks

Yes the S70 is slow to focus, but seems to be very acurate even under low light levels. Response time after focus is even too slow for moving subjects, but plenty adequate for cooperative posers. The image quality is incredibly good, and I think better than or equal to the D-1. Also recording times tend to be long on larger files...try the tif mode at 34 seconds per image! Richard
