Just seen the news footage of a match in Hong Kong.....anyone else see it.

Referee sends off a bloke for bad language, bloke turns and kicks the ball which hits referee on the side of the head, referee punches the player and pitch battle (literaly) breaks out.

The referee is now awaiting to hear what the authorites are going to do about it......Give him a job over here....lets see him up against Jaap Stam, Roy Keane, David Batty et al.

Certainly was a remarkable piece of film! Guess it`s not really the way forward, but just occasionally it would be fun if the ref could be armed with something - maybe a wet fish?! Then when it`s all getting too much, and some really gobby player is pushing his luck, he could whip it out at slap him one with it. No real harm done, player is humilliated (and smelly), referee has defused the situation with a comedy moment - it has potential, no?! Well, no, not really, but this is the end of a wet and very boring Bank Holiday weekend. I shall return to normal, whatever that might be, when everyone goes back to work tomorrow! (:o)

Yes....wet here strangely enough....most unexpected and unwanted!! it means I can't do my usual gloating about the weather!!
