As I am about to leave for an overnight stay in hospital, I would just like Looney to know he can have my "Pedant" he is always going on about, if anything goes wrong.

Its nothing serious, just having a skin cancer cut out.

All enquiries to Dr Bill.

Hope things turn out well for you Softie and that Buff is feeling much better.

By the way happy birthday for Sat. Dougal. Hope you are well enough to read this by now!!!

Take care, gus. My friend had one removed from behind her knee a year ago and she hasn't even got a scar. If they can do that in the chilly old North of England then the expertise in Oz must be first rate. Log in and let us know how it went as soon as you get out.

That's very generous of you old sport. Without wishing to sound ungracious however, I'd have thought you'd realised I've also had my eye on your used teabag collection. So if the operation doesn't quite go to plan ...... ??

PS. I told you before to put on Factor 30 ALL over before taking that lovely skin of yours out into the sun, but do you ever listen .... :O))

Thank you all for the messages. Just got home and nothing to do, bloody hospital did not even have cable.

I had to make Mrs gus watch "Sportsline" on Sky this morning, 0730, (even made her late for work) to find out if Ipswich won!!

I do not know why I started this yesterday, probably nerves. The specialist was a bit concerned that it was malignant so wanted me in overnight incase it was to be major.

The biopsy was negative so all I have now is a Duelling scar, well if Mrs gus will allow me to call it that!!!

Loony, sorry, but I will keep my pedant although i have a nice brooch and earing if you want. I have added a lovely Sainsbury red label to the tea bag collection I'm (AS in I am) sure that will up the value. Do you think I should take the collection back for Antique roadshow or wait til they come over here?

Again thanks for the messages, my right side will again be fully operational by the weekend, which incidentally is a bank holiday here.

Glad to hear you're (as in YOU ARE)out and about. Maybe you'll look a bit like a vampire victim when the dressing's off! How about playing in goal for Perth Gory - SIGH, it's a bit too hot here to fetch my coat....

Excellent news gus - you must be very relieved.
Now, go and buy some factor 50, for God's sake!

Always a bonus to start the week with good news! And that certainly was `good news`! Kindest regards. (:o)

Gus,
Missed the whole of this, but a belated 'Get Well Soon' anyway, with a cyber posie and some cyber grapes. -)

I'm with Pit Bill - got in late but get well soon. Next time wear a bin bag if you can't get Factor 50.

As billy Connoly said, Factor 50? Is not (as in isn't) that a bandage?
