Things I wouldn't have if y2k had been a 10.

I happen to think of some of the items I have bought since the new year.

1. A Grab It broom (love it)

2. New bakeware set

2. Electric table top grill/oven ( to keep the heat out of the kitchen)

3. Duck and Lab print fabric to start a new quilt.

I often think how bad times could have been by now and give a hugh thank you in my heart to who ever is listening.

Hi Carol, glad to see someone in this
ghost town.

Things I wouldn't have if it weren't for
the Y2K problem.

New batteries for house system. I wouldn't
have spent the money even though they were
11 years old and needed to be replaced. Bulk wheat, rice, honey and beans. I got a
good deal buying in bulk. New online friends that I met on these boards.

Hi Carol and Spider,

What I wouldn't have, if Y2K had been a 10:

Air conditioning!!!! (very important) A Nice Spa in the backyard (100 degree water in the winter) Gasoline, transportation, a job Vacations

What I now have, since Y2K is not a 10:

Extra food, lower monthly living expenses New knowledge - gardening, making beef jerky, etc.!! A solar powered ham radio shack Increased knowledge of wild edible plants New internet friends & acquaintances

---

Hey, looks like a win-win situation!
