Finally, SLOC has scheduled The Great Forest Park Meet for July 16th. Now we have something to train for.

When I talked with Fritz at Beaumont he said he wanted to set the course. Who is the course setter?

While I'm not sure why Fritz would set a course for a SLOC meet, it may be better that he sets the course than runs it. A quick check of Fritz's training log indicates little activity.

I would set the courses because I could do a damn good job at it. And the fact that I haven't posted my training doesn't mean that I haven't been training. Maybe it was time for a week off. Or maybe I got a bit sick. Or maybe I chose other priorities for a week. .... Harrumph!

So, who is planning to go to the Forest Park meet?

Mary and I will probably go. I don't plan to run hard -- I expect to still be in my building-up-after-hurting-my-leg stage. I'm also planning to bring my rollerblades and do a lap of the park after the run.

I hope to go and run hard. But, if Yvonne agrees to let me set the courses, then I guess my times would be invalid. I, too, can bring rollerblades. Bobbi most likely will attend, but most likely will not rollerblade.

I most likely will not attend, but I may very well roller blade.

I intend, but probably won't attend. Enjoy coursesetting on blades. . .

My rollerblades are in the shop, so it looks like rollerblade kansas willonce again have a pathetic showing.

What size to you wear, Dan? Surely not a size 6 women's :)

Oh, and it's official. I've heard from Yvonne and am designing the courses. Time for input is now.

My skates hurt my feet, and it's scary going down hill, but if that's what we're doing, who am I to not join in? Oh, unless I'm going a Rogaine that day. But I won't be at Forest Park, in any event.
