I have been trying to produce some video cd's from the VHS tapes that I have.I am using an ATI All-in-wonder 128 video capture card and the software that came with it to capture my video source to MPEG-1 format. Then I am writing the MPEG files to a Philips PCRW404K CD-RW drive with the Write2CD software that came with it.My first problem is when I play some of my VCDs in my DVD player, the picture and audio are blocky. The second problem is that the dvd player will only play one of the files out of the two that I have burned onto the disk. Do I need some type of software to create a menu of some type so my dvd player will see the second track? I would appreciate any help anyone could give me.

I am also using an ATI all in wonder. I am not having too much luck either doing the same thing. However you must get the latest ATI multimedia center software from their website. Version 6.2 and 6.3 write proper whitebook compliant MPeg files. earlier versions do not. I am using VCD creator from adaptec, but having problems with it writing to the proper directory on the video disk. Ulead Video studio is a good editor, one track on you video cd is for file information I think not a readable track. Unless ofcourse you mean you have put more than one MPeg file on your disk. Video cd creator or similar software is needed if you want to create multi track vcds.
